SMS Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 16, 2026

SMS Communications

By providing your mobile phone number to Everford Caregivers, you explicitly consent to receive text messages (SMS) related to your care inquiry, intake and care plan onboarding, appointment and shift reminders, caregiver updates, customer service, account notifications, and other care-related communications.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your direct interactions with our care team, family coordination preferences, and specific home health or 24-hour support requirements.

Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier’s plan.

Opting Out

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message sent by us. Upon sending STOP, you will receive a single confirmation message verifying your opt-out status, after which you will no longer receive text communications unless you explicitly re-enroll or opt in again.

Help and Support

For assistance or questions regarding our messaging service, reply HELP to any message or contact our team directly at (763) 313-0454.

Privacy, Data Sharing, and Texas Standards

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Texas Business and Commerce Code and federal communications privacy regulations:

  • No Marketing Transfers: Mobile information and SMS consent data will never be sold, rented, shared, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
  • Service Providers: Information sharing with essential service vendors or platform partners (such as secure messaging gateways or scheduling software) is permitted solely for the purpose of facilitating your care coordination and delivery. All service providers are bound by strict confidentiality and privacy agreements.

HIPAA & Confidentiality Notice

As a Texas home health and 24-hour support provider bound by HIPAA and the Texas Medical Records Privacy Act, we maintain safeguards to secure your personal health details. However, standard SMS text messaging is not an entirely encrypted or secure channel.

  • Clients, family members, and legal representatives should avoid sending highly sensitive health, financial, or medical details via unencrypted SMS text messages unless explicitly instructed to do so via a secure portal.

Changes to This Policy

Everford Caregivers reserves the right to modify or update this SMS Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
